In Norway we have had a mystic named Marcello Haugen. He was very interested in the traditions and rituals of magic, and he saw man as a microcosm of the universe.

 

He believed that all existence is rooted in either opposite or equal conditions, that intuitive thinking has far greater significance than the pursuit of reason, and that in our age there have been certain people with a secret knowledge

which can explain "supernatural" forces.

 

Mikael Martin Hansen Haugen was born in Kongsberg on July 6, 1878. His parents were Thorius Hansen Haugen from Kongsberg and Ellen Marie Mikaelsdatter from Skedsmo.
